It was reported today that in the process of moving the 2007 spending bill through Congress, (detailed in previous post) which contains about $187 million for water and flood work in the region, and $3 million for a feasibility study of Auburn Dam, no objections have yet been raised from other congressional representatives, a good sign, so things are looking good.
The next step is for the Senate to do its work, then the two house conference work during the summer and fall.
