Five central Sacramento one-way streets to become two-way

Sacramento will convert five central city streets from one- to two-way traffic, and narrow two others from three lanes with one-way traffic to two lanes, following final approval to an environmental study by the City Council on June 26.
The council approved the following streets for conversion:
19th Street, from H Street to Broadway, from three lanes to two with bike lanes.
21st Street, from I to W streets, from three lanes to two with bike lanes.
N Street, from 21st to 28th streets, to two-way.
Third Street, I to J streets, to two-way.
J Street, 30th Street to Alhambra Boulevard, to two-way.
Ninth Street, E to I streets, to two-way.
10th Street, E to I streets, to two-way.
