This fire should have been contained by now, and lets hope the damage wasn’t too extensive.

Hundreds of firefighters from multiple jurisdictions battled a 30-acre blaze from the air and ground Sunday afternoon off Old Foresthill Road near the confluence of the American River.
The fast-moving flames appeared to have shot up from a bike trail that skirts the middle fork of the River near Mammoth Bar.
The California Department of Forestry called in four helicopters to drop water on the flames as well as six air tankers that dropped retardant, said Paul Kenneweg, CDF battalion chief.
High winds didn't help suppression efforts and fueled flames. A huge cloud of dark gray smoke could be seen from Auburn.
The majority of the flames were knocked down from the air. The steep and rugged canyon terrain made it difficult for crews to reach the blaze, fire officials said.Hand crews used an extension ladder to scale a cliff to gain access to the burning brush.
"We're making very good progress," said Tina Rose, spokeswoman for CDF.She said brush fires, like the Foresthill blaze, are the hottest and most dangerous to fight.
